‘Twas a sunny day …

Every now and again, and particularly at this time of year (i.e. in Lent, before the busy-ness of Easter is upon us), clergy and others go on what’s known as a ‘Quiet Day’.  Sometimes they restrict it to a Quiet Morning or a Quiet Evening, but our local deanery clergy went off for the day today to St. David’s for what is basically a day off.  We gathered in a meeting room in the cathedral cloisters for coffee and some gentle talks from the Dean (with quiet spaces in between when you could go off and do your own thing) and then he celebrated the eucharist with us in the Lady Chapel.  After that, we adjourned to a local hostelry for lunch and then a few of us went off and walked a bit of the coastal path before the bus picked us up at 3.30.

It was an absolutely glorious day, without a cloud in the sky.  This is what it looked like on the coastal path.
